After years of speculation, Dexter Issac, a convict and former associate of Czar Entertainment CEO James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond, has come forward and admitted to shooting rap legend Tupac Shakur in 1994 under the orders of Rosemond.

In a statement to allhiphop.com, Issac—who is currently serving a life sentence in prison for murder and robbery convictions—confessed to assaulting Shakur on November 30, 1994 at Quad Studios for $2,500 given to him by Rosemond.

“In 1994, James Rosemond hired me to rob [Tupac] Shakur at the Quad Studio,” Issac wrote.“He gave me $2,500 plus all the jewelry I took, except for one ring which he wanted for himself.”

“I want to apologize to his family [Tupac Shakur] and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Jimmy Henchman],” he continued. “I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Biggie's] mothers some closure.”

As hip-hop fans know, Tupac was reportedly shot five times on the night of November 30. It is unclear if Issac admitted to firing all five shots. The Notorious B.I.G. was also in the studio at the time of ’Pac’s attack, and Shakur believed that he had something to do with the incident, which resulted in a deadly feud between the two MCs.

This isn’t the first time Rosemond’s name has come up in the attack. Shakur fingered Rosemond in the shooting on his song “Against All Odds” “And did I mention/Promised a payback, Jimmy Henchman/In due time/I knew you bitch niggas was listening/The world is mine/Set me up/Wet me up/Niggas stuck me up/Heard the guns bust/But you tricks never shut me up.

As previously reported, Rosemond is currently on the run following a federal arrest warrant for his alleged involvement in a cocaine distribution ring. In a statement issued to XXLMag.com on May 23, 2011 Rosemond called Issac an informant that was helping the government in their case against him. “If the government is relying on informants like Winston ‘Winnie’ Harris, a convicted drug dealer and Jamaican deportee, who came to me and motioned via hand signal that he was forced to wear a wire and begged me to skip town or Dexter Isaac who is serving life in prison plus 30 years then I’m sure I will not be offered a fair trial. Where’s the real proof that I have committed these crimes? I just want my fair trial and to not be railroaded as they so eagerly want to do.”

Issac said these false allegations by Rosemond motivated him to come forward. He also said, that since the statute of limitations on the crime is up, he feels comfortable admitting his wrongdoing.

Tupac would have turned 40 years old tomorrow, June 16.

The reason is because the people that were involed are punks they have no conscious there called scums of the earth the world would be a better place without people like that.

they purposely left the rolex cause it was a direct sign...it was exactly why tupac knew who was behind it...and they meant for him to know...henchman had given they rolex to tupac himself...yea...thats y....i believe its in the vibe interview.not sure, but 2pac himself talked about the rolex in an interview

Oh poor Pac in the hand of slyers and snitchers...Fck!!!..Which i could see him before he died....Fuck y'all Haterz
hey, we all do... its soooo sad to think about pac not here spreading his wisdom and setting new standards. like hussain said about 2pac - a man who stood for so much, should die for something that small.... just insane. i miss pac !!! and the world needs him.
this letter to allhiphop.com was in most newspapers nationwide. there's two problems with isaac's letter. one is he says rosemond was collaborating with the government only after tupac's shooting in nyc. i saw the government documents that show he was collaborating with the government before and during the time tupac was shot in nyc. the other problem with the letter is that it doesn't make sense why isaac would defend chuck phillips. phillips had the biggest, sloppiest attempts at covering up how u.s. intelligence assassinated tupac.

In another strange twist of events

"Chuck Philips wants his retraction back" (Click Here)

i dont quite know how to process all this... the comment by his video producer regarding the practicality that pac knew more than he should, is very plausible.... the true picture, i dont believe, will be clear anytime soon.... more people are gonna fall before someone feels safe enough to tell the truth.... just my opinion
