This seems really interesting!!

Definitely gonna cop this this and Dexter, I think it takes a lot of strength coming to this site. Pretty brave in my opinion.

Greg...I am curious to see how it fits in with both you and derrick parkers books as well as Chuck Phillips story.

Comment by Greg Kading on September 19, 2012 at 1:40pm

Well, the way I see it, I cant find any disagreements among any of us. I haven't read Parkers book in a few years, but as far as Chuck and I, I think we can now say affirmatively what happened at the quad. We will have to wait to see what, if anything, Dexter KNOWS about Pac's murder.

P.S. I suspect someone is acting on Dexter's behalf to get his material onto this website. Typically prisons prohibit this kind of internet activity for inmates.

I agree, dont think you guys differ a whole bunch other than in slight details offered, but essentially everyone is pointing at ultimately the same things. Been meaning to go back a re read "Queens Reigns Supreme" by Ethan Brown again, as I recall he had some interesting perspective on Jimmy Henchmans relationship with pac. But I havent read it since I read your book and have been meaning to go back and look for zip, and possibly Dexter Isaac, etc. So I am curious where Walter "King Tut" Johnson plays into all of this, he was long presumed as the leader of the stick up crew at Quad, and there have been internet rumors floating around for years that he used to show off pac's chain around Brooklyn after the stick up. But his name has kinda been conspicuously absent from all of the more recent reports....but pac did refer to him on the song "Against All Odds" along with Jimmy Henchman and Haitian Jack.

yep. At this point the most reliable source on the quad incident is Isaac. Until he is proven wrong or caught in a lie, w should give him the benefit of the doubt. I just hope his animosity towards Henchmen doesn't cause him to exaggerate. I am interested in what he will say about Stretch. As you know he was murdered a year to the day after Pac. My source here in LA, whom I believe to be very reliable, affirms stretch was killed by Knob Johnson. Knob was Mob Piru associate of Suges and was in the entourage with Suge when Pac was killed. So it begs the question, "why would Knob kill Stretch unless it was retaliation for Tupac?"  Hopefully Isaac will shed some light on that.

Oops....my last post needs to be clarified. The "retaliation for Tupac" is meant to refer to the Quad shooting, not the murder.

This is surprising.  I never would have thought Dexter Isaac would write a book about what he knows.  I agree with Greg that it is highly probable someone is acting on Isaac's behalf in making these decisions about how to get the truth out.  Nonetheless, the whole process would involve Dexter Isaac's consent and active participation.  The fact that Dexter Isaac is involved in getting the truth of what he knows out to the world and is reaching out on this website, I think it definitely is brave as Tat Moderator said and I think it's great.

Does anyone know how to get a copy of this book? Is it even available yet?

Tupac’s Record-Breaking Move A DJ’s vinyl is smashed at Suge Knight’s Vegas nightclub Illustrations by Sean Clauretie

Las Vegas, March 16, 1996The dance floor was filling up at Suge Knight’s Club 662, a semi-legal, stand-alone nightclub on Flamingo Road. A local DJ named Warren Peace was manning the turntables, finally getting the party started. The fight was over — Mike Tyson had knocked out Frank Bruno in the third round to win the WBC heavyweight title — and the city was ready to celebrate.Fight nights in Vegas always draw huge crowds, so the modestly-sized venue was quickly packed. As the opening bars of Total’s hit song “Can’t You See” played from Warren’s 12-inch vinyl over the club’s speakers, enthusiastic cheers from the dance floor signaled appreciation for the hottest song of the moment.“Give me all the chicken heads from Pasadena to Medina…►” rapped Notorious B.I.G. on the track’s first verse,…See More

Is a manager worth it?

I ask myself this question all the time and I still don't have an answer.I have tried many a time to get someone to manage me as an artist and I have had ZERO luck. As a matter of fact the manager I did have never got me any work, isn't a manager supposed to do that so they can make some money too?Either way I had to let him go and I do it myself, don't get me wrong if someone wanted to manage me I would let them as long as they were legit. Not saying the guy I had wasn't legit but he was just un organized and didn't know where to start or finish. If you do decide to get a manager I would do it,  my past experience should be nothing to base your decision off of but I do know FOR A FACT that you want a manager who is as passionate about your talent as you are.Without that you are just telling people some guy random dude is your manager while he does jack shit to get your music out there. - Half DeezySee More
